I am offering a special on pet portraits as a gift idea for the upcoming holidays. You can either commission me to DO the painting now and have it ready to deliver on christmas/Hanukkah (or another occasion if you wish), or you can give your friend or loved one a special gift in the form of a card that will allow them to choose the photo they want used for the painting and I will do it after they receive the gift.

These portraits are 6″ x 8″ and go for only $99. (plus tax and S&H)

Arrange early, as they take some time to get done.

Pencil Portrait: the Joy of Katie

January 16, 2010 at 1:00 am (Uncategorized)

This pencil portrait was commissioned as a gift to Katie’s mom from Katie’s dad. The real gift is a beautiful Oil Portrait of Katie, but this acted as the temporary gift.   It was a fun way to surprise the mom, and yet the mom is fully involved it the process of the painting and all the details she’ll want to be involved with.

Isn’t Katie a doll. Can’t wait to paint her.

Cha-cha and Ninja -new family members…AND.. we’re finally moved in

July 19, 2009 at 1:29 pm (Uncategorized)

aaa kitties

                 CHA-CHA                                     NINJA

We have 2 “mew” members of our NEW household. They are Cha-cha and Ninja. Sister and brother rescue cats. We LOVE them and the sweetness and excitement they bring to our new home. Aren’t they cute???

I am finally moved, mostly unpacked and settling down and starting to do art work again, and I have an art “studio” like never before. (I have always painted in the kitchen, and now I have an actual space to do my creating.)

Would love to hear from some of my friends.
